DMA presenters are all under 20 years of age and several of them are still completing their performing arts’ diplomas, GCSE’s and A-Levels. DMA limits the number of young clients it represents to 5 and offers this select group the benefit of hands-on presenting training with regular workshops, screen tests and filming sessions to enhance their natural talent with technical skills and a fuller understanding of the presenting profession.
The people behind DMA (Billy Macqueen and Maddy Darrall) have a long and established history of finding and guiding some of the UK’s brightest presenting talent on TV:
CRAIG DOYLE
"My TV career happened thanks to Billy Macqueen and Maddy Darrall. Not only did they give me my first TV job, but they nurtured and protected me in what can be a ruthless business. They have always put the interests of their young performers ahead of anything else."
FEARNE COTTON
"I got a lucky break into presenting at the age of 15. I wasn’t quite sure how to present or what it involved but thought it looked like a lot of fun. Maddy Darrall and Billy Macqueen gave me this amazing head start. They taught me the technical side of things, like counts and talk back, to decision making in my career, and how to deal with all the madness of the TV world. If Maddy and Billy had not believed in me and hadn’t given me that chance I definitely would not be where I am today !!!"
REGGIE YATES
"I first worked with Billy Macqueen and Maddy Darrall when I was 13 and have gone on to enjoy a presenting career with over 500 hours of live TV to date"
